Jeffrey Dahmer towards the end right before he got caught, had so many bodies in his apartment that he ran out of the room and stored one victim in his bathtub. He proceeded to shower over him every day for a month. He didn't eat people with tattoos because he said the ink made the flesh taste weird. He gave sandwiches to the people in his apartment building that could've possibly been made from his victims’ flesh.

2. Pee Wee Gaskins, the most prolific serial killer in South Carolina drove around in a hearse with a bumper sticker that read "WE HAUL ANYTHING, LIVING OR DEAD." He told people that he needed it to take the bodies of people he killed to his private cemetery. He claimed to have killed between 100 and 110 people.

3. Richard Kuklinski was responsible for a string of homeless murders in New Jersey, killing a cop for beating him, and he also once shot a man with a crossbow just to test it out for an upcoming hit. He lured men to meetings with the promise of lucrative business deals, killed them and stole their money. He was nicknamed, ‘The Iceman’ by authorities after he froze the body of one of his victims to disguise the time of death. He once killed a man and left his body in an oil drum outside of a diner just to see how long it would take for someone to investigate. He ordered sandwiches from the same diner and sat on the drum while he ate it. He made a clicking noise with his mouth when he was angry and anyone who heard that was as good as dead. The inspiration for Stone Cold Steve Austin's character came from Richard Kuklinski.

4. Mark Brandon "Chopper" Read was a renowned killer in Australia. However, he only targeted drug dealers and people who made attempts on his life. When he got old he was told he had liver cancer and had only a few weeks to live. He was asked by the television show 60 minutes Australia if he wanted one last interview before he died. He accepted. When asked about all the murderers, which he previously claimed as self-defense, not him or he covered them up, he just confessed to all of them, claiming they were never self-defense and he had committed the ones he previously denied. Then he passed away a few weeks later. He went out listing everyone he killed. It shocked everyone.

5. Serial killer John Norman Collins used to pick up young women on his motorcycle in the Ypsilanti area of Southeastern Michigan. They were then abducted, raped, beaten and murdered by him, typically by stabbing or strangulation. He then discarded their bodies here and there, but they were always washed. It turns out he only killed women who were on their period. It is theorized that this may have been a factor in the sexual violence exhibited upon the victims.

Brazilian serial killer "little Petey" murdered over 40 people in prison. He began by murdering the gang that killed his girlfriend and then stabbing his father, who was in prison for killing his mother, during a visit. He was well liked because he was considered a sort of vigilante avenger, despite killing indiscriminately within the prison. Because of Brazil's odd sentencing laws, he could only serve a maximum of 30 years and is currently a YouTuber.

7. Green River killer would cover his tracks by buying new car tires and destroying shoes and getting new ones after murders (to avoid leaving traceable tracks behind). He took the jewelry off his victims and left it in the ladies restroom at his workplace and got off on seeing the “found” jewelry on the various women around the office.

8. When Dr. Harold Shipman lost his mother, he saw how morphine eased her pain before she passed. Then he became a doctor and used morphine overdoses to kill people, especially rich old ladies, and wrote himself into their wills with forgery. He was eventually caught because it was suspicious that every single one of his patients had him in their will, and that they all died under his care - but he did “inherit” a number of estates and a lot of money before getting caught.

9. A Polish serial killer named Paweł Tuchlin was admitted into a psychiatric ward. He started making sculptures out of bread and was quite good at it. He fell in love with one of the doctors there and to show his affection he made a vagina out of bread (he used natural hair too) and then gave it to the doctor. She then suffered a mental breakdown.

10. Israel Keyes used to fly to one state and then rent a car and drive thousands of miles to kill someone. He never stalked his victims, he would pick at random and connivance. He only got caught because he kidnapped a girl and held her for ransom and started taking money out of her account. It was the first time he ever did that. If he would have just kept doing what he was doing he would have never been caught.

Dennis Rader, a Kansas serial killer, a.k.a. the BTK Killer, installed alarms as a part of his job, and many of his clients had booked the company to stop BTK from ever entering their homes, unaware that BTK himself was installing them. He was finally caught after sending a 1.44MB diskette to the police - which they told him was untraceable - containing metadata from a deleted MS Word file.

12. David Berkowitz (aka the Son Of Sam) killed people because he believed that he was commanded to do so by a demon that resided in the body of his neighbor’s dog, Harvey.

13. When a man named John List lost his job at a bank, he became so scared of losing his home and bringing shame and distress to his family that he meticulously planned the murder of his wife, mother, and kids. Weeks went by before anyone realized his family members were missing. He left their bodies in sleeping bags in the ballroom of his family’s mansion. He then cut his face out of all the family photos, moved away to start a new life and eventually found a new wife. He was caught almost two decades later when an age progression clay bust was made of his face and shown on America’s Most Wanted.

14. Andrei Chikatilo was a Russian serial killer who targeted children and was said to have used parts of their anatomy as chewing gum while he walked the streets. The Soviet state was adamant that serial killers were a product of western moral failings and that the crimes were not related. Many of his victims were pinned on other men including his first murder even though a great deal of evidence pointed in his direction at the time. Andrei's job was to travel between factories delivering parts which let him spread out murders in different jurisdictions which of course was hampered by a lack of communication between police services. He was at one point arrested for acting suspiciously in public and found to have knives, rope, and Vaseline in his possession but this did not lead to him being charged with any murders.

15. Richard Ramirez, AKA “The Night Stalker”, who killed 13 people in the 80s once tried escaping from prison and had shoved multiple things, including an “I Luv Chocolate” Sticker, up to his ass for supplies.

Hadden Clark, a serial killer and cannibal currently serving life in prison has a brother, Bradfield Clark, that he was estranged from for most of his life. As it would turn out not only did his brother murder his girlfriend, but he roasted chunks of her breasts on a BBQ and ate them.

17. Randall Woodfield, the I-5 Killer who killed up to 44 people was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the 17th round of the NFL Draft but was cut from the team during training after a series of indecent exposure arrests.

18. Scottish serial killer Dennis Nilsen once killed a man with a headphone cord, before listening to music on those same headphones. Later in his life, he found a guy outside, clearly disoriented. He called an ambulance and the guy was brought to the hospital. The guy came back the next day and thanked Nilsen, after which Nilsen killed him.

19. Russell Williams was the commander for Canada's largest airforce base. He flew dignitaries like the Prime Minister and Queen Elizabeth around. He also broke into homes to steal women/girls underwear and took selfies for years until he progressed to rape and murder.

20. Cody Legebokoff is one of Canada’s youngest serial killers (Age 19/20) - killing 3 women and a teenage girl. When he was caught in Late November 2010 covered in blood, he claimed he clubbed a deer to death because “I’m a redneck, that’s what we do for fun.” The only reason he was caught that night was because of erratic driving and after his explanation the lack of hunting permit in accordance with the Canada Wildlife Act. The blood trail led to one of his victims, and then Legebokoff’s DNA connected him to his 3 previous victims.

Richard Chase was a serial killer who would only go into people’s home if their front door was unlocked because otherwise he “didn't feel welcome.” He believed he was a vampire and thus he could not go into a home if it was locked, which is a part of vampire mythology.

22. Albert Fish would stick needles into his pelvis when he was masturbating. He would stick them so deep sometimes they would get stuck. When he told this to police, they didn't believe him until they saw the x-ray of needles still embedded in his pelvis. He had children of his own, and was by all accounts a very kind and gentle father, and never even raised a hand on his own kids. He cooked and ate a little girl once and then sent a letter to her parents about what she tasted like.

23. Robert Hansen would kidnap women and turn them loose in the Alaskan wilderness, where he would then hunt them down like animals and kill them. He didn't have the highest number of victims, but his method of hunting them for sport is absolutely insane.

24. At the age of 15, Ed Kemper murdered his paternal grandparents. After he came out on parole at the age of 21, he went on to kill six college students, his mother and her best friend. He was also a prolific audiobook narrator and he has several hundred completed recordings to his name. He once buried one of his victim's severed head in his mother's garden as a joke and later remarked that his mother “always wanted people to look up to her.” On one occasion, when he was left alone in a cell with FBI agent Robert Ressler, who was interviewing him, Ed started taunting him, implying that he was going to murder him. Once the guards returned, Ed told Ressler that he was "just kidding."

25. Ted Bundy helped in the investigation of the green river killer and made a psych profile which ended up being closer to the actual green river killer than the FBI's own psych profile. That was also a huge part of the inspiration for the silence of the lambs. Bundy also tried to masturbate to photos of his crime scene when detective Kepple brought them in, which is why they stopped letting Bundy keep the files.
